MCS-route domestic solar PV with hybrid inverters and home battery storage.
We design and install rooftop solar PV systems that pay back inside the decade — sized against your actual consumption, not a glossy brochure figure. Every install includes monitoring, optional battery storage, and the MCS certification you'll need for the Smart Export Guarantee. Real numbers, in your quote, before you sign.
Every job is quoted before we start, signed off when it's done, and certified where the regs demand it. The list below is the everyday — out-of-the-ordinary asks welcome.
Annual kWh demand pulled from your bills. Roof orientation, pitch and shading photographed and modelled.
Panel count, inverter sizing and (optional) battery capacity matched to your usage pattern. Payback charted in years.
Typically 1–2 days. Scaffolding up, panels mounted, inverter wired into the consumer unit, system commissioned.
MCS certificate issued, SEG registered with your supplier, monitoring app paired and explained.
Wiltshire-based, with regular work across the surrounding postcodes. Outside the area? Phone us — we'll be straight about whether we're the right team.
Yes — we operate through an MCS-certified install route, which is what your energy supplier needs to enrol you onto the Smart Export Guarantee.
Depends on your usage and tariff. A typical Wiltshire household with a 4 kWp array and home battery is currently saving £900–£1,400 a year. We model your specific number in the quote.
It can — output drops roughly 35% versus south. East/west splits often outperform expectations because they spread generation across the day, which matches household usage better.
AC-coupled battery units can be added to almost any existing solar install. We size against your consumption pattern, not a marketing default.
Quote inside 24 hours. The electrician who picks up the phone is the one walking your job.
And a few that come up often enough that they may as well be here.
We respond to enquiries as quickly as we can. When we can book routine work depends on our workload and what the job needs. For genuinely urgent problems, such as power loss, circuits that keep tripping or anything that looks unsafe, we offer urgent call-outs where possible. Phone us and we'll be honest about when we can get to you.
We provide quotations for planned work. If we need to visit the site solely to quote, we'll confirm in advance whether that visit is free. Diagnostic visits, fault-finding and call-outs are chargeable, and we explain any fees clearly.
Yes. Call-outs, diagnostic visits and fault-finding are chargeable, and all applicable fees are explained clearly.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Urgent call-outs for electrical faults, power loss, tripping circuits and other potentially unsafe issues are available where possible.
We're based at 30 Commercial Road in Swindon and work across the town, including Old Town, Stratton and Wroughton, as well as Royal Wootton Bassett, Cirencester, Chippenham and Calne.
Inspection and testing keep your electrical installation safe. It uncovers latent faults that, left alone, can cause fires, shocks and equipment damage. Regular reports also prevent unexpected breakdowns and the costlier repairs that follow them.
Owner-occupied homes: at least every 10 years. Rented dwellings: every 5 years. Commercial premises: every 5 years, industrial every 3. Specialist installations such as pools, agricultural buildings and marinas need shorter cycles. We'll tell you straight which band you're in.
You receive an EICR, an Electrical Installation Condition Report. It records the condition of every circuit, classified C1, C2, C3 or FI. If anything is flagged, you get a quoted remedial plan with it. Plain English, no surprises.
£5m public liability, full professional indemnity, and the certifications to back it. Copies of all policies are issued with every quote on request.
