Diagnosis, repair and recertification — for the circuits that won't behave.

    Accepting bookings

    Faults found, repaired, signed off.

When a breaker won't reset, a circuit cooks an MCB, or the kitchen lights flicker on a Thursday for no reason — those are the jobs we like. We diagnose with proper test gear, not guesswork, and repair to the point where it'll never bother you again. Domestic, light commercial, agricultural.

    01

    Phone triage

What's happening, when, and what's already been tried. Sometimes resolved over the phone.

    02

    Diagnose

On-site with clamp meter, insulation tester, and the rest. We find the actual cause, not the symptom.

    03

    Quote the fix

Written quote for the repair before the repair starts. No surprises on the invoice.

    04

    Repair & test

Repair, retest, and reissue any affected certificates. Documentation for your insurer if needed.

    Where we service.

Wiltshire-based, with regular work across the surrounding postcodes. Outside the area? Phone us — we'll be straight about whether we're the right team.

    Asked
    often.

How much does electrical fault finding cost?+

Fault-finding and diagnostic visits are chargeable, and we explain the fees clearly. The cost depends mostly on how long the fault takes to trace: a constant fault is quicker to find than an intermittent one. Once we've found the cause, you get a written quote for the repair before the repair starts.

    Can you come out urgently?+

For genuinely urgent problems, such as power loss, circuits that keep tripping or anything that looks unsafe, we offer urgent call-outs where possible. Call-outs are chargeable, with all fees explained clearly.

How long does fault finding take?+

A dead circuit or a constant fault is often traced in a single visit. Intermittent faults, the ones that only trip now and then, can take longer because we have to catch them happening or rule circuits out one by one.

    My RCD keeps tripping — what's wrong?+

Usually one of: water ingress, a failing appliance, deteriorated cable insulation, or a borrowed neutral on an old install. We isolate by circuit and by load to find which.

    Can you repair burnt-out sockets?+

Yes — but the cause matters more than the socket. A burnt socket is a symptom of overload, loose termination, or a damaged cable. We fix all three.

Will you work for an insurance claim?+

Often, yes. We produce repair scopes, costed quotes, before/after photos, and the test certificates your insurer's loss adjuster needs.

Can the old rubber-and-lead wiring be patched?+

Patched safely, sometimes — but if any section is rubber-insulated it's usually time for at least a partial rewire. We'll be straight about which.

    Brief us

    Ready when
    you are. Let's talk.

Quote inside 24 hours. The electrician who picks up the phone is the one walking your job.

The questions we get asked most.

And a few that come up often enough that they may as well be here.

We respond to enquiries as quickly as we can. When we can book routine work depends on our workload and what the job needs. For genuinely urgent problems, such as power loss, circuits that keep tripping or anything that looks unsafe, we offer urgent call-outs where possible. Phone us and we'll be honest about when we can get to you.

We provide quotations for planned work. If we need to visit the site solely to quote, we'll confirm in advance whether that visit is free. Diagnostic visits, fault-finding and call-outs are chargeable, and we explain any fees clearly.

Yes. Call-outs, diagnostic visits and fault-finding are chargeable, and all applicable fees are explained clearly.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Urgent call-outs for electrical faults, power loss, tripping circuits and other potentially unsafe issues are available where possible.

We're based at 30 Commercial Road in Swindon and work across the town, including Old Town, Stratton and Wroughton, as well as Royal Wootton Bassett, Cirencester, Chippenham and Calne.

Inspection and testing keep your electrical installation safe. It uncovers latent faults that, left alone, can cause fires, shocks and equipment damage. Regular reports also prevent unexpected breakdowns and the costlier repairs that follow them.

Owner-occupied homes: at least every 10 years. Rented dwellings: every 5 years. Commercial premises: every 5 years, industrial every 3. Specialist installations such as pools, agricultural buildings and marinas need shorter cycles. We'll tell you straight which band you're in.

You receive an EICR, an Electrical Installation Condition Report. It records the condition of every circuit, classified C1, C2, C3 or FI. If anything is flagged, you get a quoted remedial plan with it. Plain English, no surprises.

£5m public liability, full professional indemnity, and the certifications to back it. Copies of all policies are issued with every quote on request.
